Hair Extension Methods
There are many different hair extension methods, but here are the four main ones that we use.
Fusion - With the use of a special thermal clamping device we fuse individual strands of hair extensions to your own hair close to the root. The extensions are attached with the help of a special adhesive that contains keratin which protects the hair. The fusing starts from the lower nape area with horizontal rows (sections) and works up to the crown and the sides. Depending on how full and/or thick you want your hair to be, we may attach more or less sections.
Wefts - A tiny braid is worked into your hair from the nape up to the lower crown area and then the hair wefts are attached to your head by sewing them to the braid. Depending on the hair texture, you may need 2 to 5 rolls (tracks).
Ring - A small section of your hair is inserted into the ring hair extension 1/4 inch from the hair root and secured by a special tool. We recommend that you use this method for adding highlights because the ring is metal and you may not want to add a lot of these pieces since it increases the weight of your hair.
Laser Weave - The hair weft will be applied horizontally to contour to the person's head shape and will be secured with a plastic ring or keratin additive (your hair and hair extensions). This procedure feels comfortable because there is no braid needed. The laser weave typically lasts from 5 to 8 weeks.

Question: How long do hair
extensions last?
Answer: Hair extensions attached using the
fusion method last the longest, up to 5 months or more; depending on
your
natural hair texture, chemical treatments on your hair and how you care
for your hair. With the ring and
hair
weft methods hair extensions can last up to 8 weeks. Clip-on hair lasts
about one or two weeks.

Question: Do hair extensions
damage my own hair?
Answer: They do not as long as you pay a little
more attention when you brush your hair.
Question: Do hair extensions
hurt my scalp?
Answer: If done properly, they should not. You
should feel the bonds evenly and comfortably around your head.
Question: Can I make my hair
into a pony tail?
Answer: Yes, you can. You can also tie it up
and make hairdos without seeing the bonds.
Question: How much do hair
extensions cost?
Answer: Prices for hair extensions range from
CDN $100 to over CDN $1000, depending on what you need, the volume
and/or length required and the colours you desire. There will be a small
extra charge for at home service.

Home Care of your Hair Extensions
Because hair extensions go through a lot of processing at the factory, we suggest that you use a shampoo for colour treated hair or one low in Ph and a good conditioner.
Do not brush your hair right after you wash it. Towel dry it a lot and use the dryer at medium heat until your hair is almost completely dry.
Use a a good soft natural bristle hair brush and brush your hair from the bottom gently working your way up towards the roots.
While sleeping, gently tie your hair up.
Do not colour your own hair at home to prevent tangling when you run your fingers through your hair.
